The British government said on Tuesday it has secured £1.3 billion ($1.74 billion) in investments from French and Indian companies at the G7 summit, focused mainly on battery storage and clean power projects.

• A French private equity firm will invest £1 billion in the UK for battery storage and flexible energy projects.
• India-based clean energy investor Atri Energy Transition will invest more than £300 million to develop large-scale battery storage and advanced manufacturing.
• Indian technology firm Hexaware Technologies will invest £25 million to expand its UK operations.
• The investments are expected to create over 1,400 jobs across the UK.
