Fresenius Medical Care announces 1 billion euros share buyback programme

The world’s largest dialysis specialist Fresenius Medical Care said, ahead of its capital markets day on Tuesday, that it plans to embark on a 1 billion euros ($1.16 billion) share buyback programme.

The dialysis provider for 300,000 patients worldwide said it plans to start the programme in the second half of the year.

($1 = 0.8650 euros)
